Here's the current status of the stole. I've finished Clue #1 plus the first 20 rows of Clue #2. I'm still pretty far behind, but I'm hoping I can get close to caught up by the time the next clue comes out.

The only thing that's really bothered me with this project has been the yarn. There was a knot in each of the two swatches, and two knots so far in the shawl. I didn't even think to try spit-splicing, so now I have four ends to bury in this lace shawl. If I run across another knot, though, I'm going to try the splice. I wonder if I just got a bad ball, or if all Zephyr yarn is prone to knots? This is the first time I've used this yarn.
The Swatch:
I initially started swatching with US4/3.5mm needles, then switched to US2/3mm needles (that's the part with the beads). I re-swatched with US3/3.25mm needles and decided that felt the nicest. (I wound up stealing those 3's from the tango baby sweater, but we'll ignore that for the moment...)
