{"id":1120,"date":"2006-09-27T22:50:21","date_gmt":"2006-09-28T02:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sarahsthreads.com\/journal\/2006\/09\/new-knit-alongs-and-swaps\/"},"modified":"2006-09-27T22:50:21","modified_gmt":"2006-09-28T02:50:21","slug":"new-knit-alongs-and-swaps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sarahsthreads.com\/journal\/2006\/09\/new-knit-alongs-and-swaps\/","title":{"rendered":"New Knit-alongs and Swaps!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Because I obviously can&#8217;t get enough sock knitting (my <a href=\"http:\/\/sarahsthreads.com\/crafts\/index.php?pid=25#Jaywalker\">jaywalker socks<\/a> are this -> <- close to being done, I just have to graft the toe of the second sock and weave in those ends) I joined two new groups earlier this week:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lollygirl.com\/blog\/?p=499\">Socktoberfest<\/a>, a month-long celebration of all things sock-y, and <a href=\"http:\/\/hot-socks-swap.blogspot.com\/\">Hot Socks Swap<\/a>, where we will exchange sock yarn and hot drink goodness.  Go join up, you know you want to!<\/p>\n<p>Also, this weeks&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/knittersreview.com\">Knitter&#8217;s Review<\/a> newsletter  had a review of a children&#8217;s book about knitting, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0618540334\/knittersreview\">Knitting Nell<\/a> (which is already on Carrie&#8217;s birthday wish list) and it had a link to a project the author started called the <a href=\"\">Good Scarf Project<\/a>.
