Last night when I got home from rehearsal, she went and got the receiving blanket I change her on very occasionally when we&#8217;re downstairs and I don&#8217;t want to bring her up to her room.  She put it on the floor and laid down on it &#8211; and she did in fact have a dirty diaper.  Then after lunch today, before I put her down for her nap, she signed &#8220;potty&#8221; &#8211; and once again she had a dirty diaper.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think she&#8217;s anywhere near ready to potty train, but just the fact that she&#8217;s aware of the fact that she needs a new diaper is a good first step!
