I&#8217;ll admit it.  I feel faint at the sight of blood, and the thought of any surgery &#8211; major or minor &#8211; makes me queasy.  Which is why I have put off the whole wisdom teeth removal issue for as long as possible.  Unfortunately, it&#8217;s becoming something that I <i>have<\/i> to do.  I knew before I went in for my cleaning this morning that they were going to tell me that.  Since my dentist doesn&#8217;t make money off of it (he refers people to one of two oral surgeons) I do believe him.  I just don&#8217;t want to do it.  Anyway, I can at least procrastinate just a bit longer &#8211; after all, who wants to be laid up for the better part of a week in the middle of the summer? &#8211; since my next downtime (no concerts or musicals) will be next January.  Small reprieve, though, since I will get to spend the next six months absolutely dreading it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a big wimp. I&#8217;ll admit it.
